The task of guides is to guide the rods and pistons of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders and prevent them from coming into direct metallic contact with the cylinder housing. The guides of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are able to take up high shearing forces even in case of a short guiding distance and, at the same time, low frictional losses. They are also available as guide rings. Depending on the load, various materials may be used: PTFE, polyamide and laminated fabric.
